Lieutenant Colonel Allen Kehoe

 

LTC KehoeLTC Allen Kehoe commissioned into the United States     Army through North Georgia College and State  University as an Infantry Officer in 2001.

As a Lieutenant, he served as a Brigade Reconnaissance Troop (BRT) Platoon Leader in B Troop 9th Cavalry, 3rd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division.  Following this assignment he was selected to serve as a Rifle Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer in C Company, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment.  Following the Captains Career Course, he served as a Battalion Assistant Operations Officer and Company Commander in 1st Battalion, 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team.  In 2009, LTC Kehoe served as a Company Commander in C Company, 5th Ranger Training Battalion.

After Command and Staff College, he served as Battalion Operations Officer, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division and the Brigade Operations Officer for 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division.  Following this assignment LTC Kehoe was assigned to United States Central Command where he served as the Deputy Branch Chief for Current Operations (Ground Operations) and went on to serve as the Iraq/Syria Lead portfolio manager for the CENTCOM Commanders Action Group (CAG).  In 2017, LTC Kehoe moved to Fort Myer to serve as the Old Guard’s Deputy Commander.

Operational Deployments include: one deployment to Iraq (2003-2004) and four deployments to Afghanistan (2005, 2006, 2007-2008, 2013-2014).

LTC Kehoe’s military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic Course and Advanced Course, United States Army Command and General Staff College, Joint and Combined Warfighting School (JPME2), Mechanized Leader Course, Airborne, Basic Instructor Training Course, and Ranger Course.

LTC Kehoe’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NATO Medal.  Unit Awards include the Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Valorous Unit Award, and the Meritorious Unit Citation.  He is authorized to wear the Ranger Tab, Parachutist Badge, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and the Expert Infantryman’s Badge.

LTC Kehoe is married to the former Ms. Christie Williams of Plains, Georgia.  They have one daughter, Kate (7).
